Actually got lei, WP has not ruled Singapore before, thus they are an unknown quantity, so it'll be unfair to pass judgement.

PAP has been ruling for what, almost fifty years already, their track record over 50 years is terrific. Track record over the last ten was terrible. The only two KPIs they hit over the past ten years is probably 1. Bigger population 2. More revenue. In the meantime, we have higher costs of living, runaway house and car prices, stagnating wages, slow government reaction to crisis. And coincidentally, it all happen under the watch of our current PM. So yes, I don't see how things can get any worse under WP than what PAP is slowly dragging Singapore into.

However I will not blame the PAP if some people are murdered in sg or the haze come to Singapore due to burning in Indonesia. However they have to do something about it for the haze issue... I believe they did... But it still depend on Indonesia...
