So far no news about whether that corrupted burger had been fined or charged. Is the main stream media trying to cover up something for Desmond so that he can fool the voters and get his seat in parliament to screw the voters.

How many of the heartland voters even know that the two are connected?

Do spread the news, but for the right reasons. I don't think we should tar DC with the same brush as his uncle CWK but we must remind the PAPzis that the moment they start throwing stones at others, you will have to expect some to be thrown back at you.

And don't stop at CWK - the rest include:
  • Wee Toon Boon
  • Phey Yew Kok
  • Teh Cheang Wan.

Those who've been indiscreet include:
  • the late Lee Chiaw Meng
  • Jek Yuen Thong
  • Othman Wok.

I'll stick to the rule of threes for now. And let's compare the way the PAPzis dealt with indiscretion and how WP dealt with YSL. The PAPzis swept the indiscretion under the carpet, and quietly retired them at the next, or following elections, whichever was expedient. WP, on the other hand, sacked YSL regardless of the political price it had to pay.

And when their MPs were forced to vacate their seats, the PAPzis refused to hold by-elections for fear that they would lose the seat. Shame on them.

That's why we need to spread the news.

Yes, keep it coming. WP actually has only 1 seat to lose. The biggest losers are still Sinkees. HG residents are the hope of this Sinking land.

What about the current Foreign Minister and Law Minister, K Shanmugam, and his alleged affairs?

Why was there no proper investigation, and why did PAP not call Shanmugam to account?

Yaw Shin Leong allegedly had affairs, and WP demanded that he explain and give a full account, and sacked him because he refused to do so. If PAP want to occupy the moral high ground, they ought to explain why they did not call Shanmugam to account for his alleged affairs.

Note that it doesn't matter whether the affairs happened or not. In both Shanmugam and Yaw's cases, they were merely ALLEGED. However, WP chose to demand accountability from Yaw, whereas PAP did not do the same for Shanmugam.

The PAPzis took the expedient route because they knew people would get tired of asking after a while, and of course, the Presstapo is here to help them through thick and thin. And there is always the threat of the lawsuit (just in case you got one tiny aspect of your allegation wrong).

We must therefore continually call them to account. Ask them, again and again.

The Singapore mainstream media is an absolute disgrace to the journalistic profession.

Most Sinkies are politically apathetic. They couldn't care less who is whose uncle or who slept with who. To Sinkies, voting is an inconvenience rather than an exercise of their civil rights.

I don't completely agree with you. A completely apathetic population would not have given the opposition 40% of the vote. But the gerrymandering of the PAPzis have caused that to manifest in only 6 elected seats.

The PAPzis are counting on this to demoralize us, as they have in the past, and then get back to PAPzism as usual. But what they are doing can be very dangerous, too, because those who have become cynical will either get out (if they can) or rise up (if they can't).

Be scared. Be very scared.

he's in a dark place -- "hei qi qi"................................

I don't understand the issue on comparison of kinship when it comes to politics (Okay. Put the Lees aside). Like that also can be an issue?

JBJ is a great politician, what about his son Kenneth Jeyaretnam?
