Don't be fooled by this crap. The word "WAYANG" was invented for performances like hers.

There is no point "speaking up" unless you can also vote against policies you disagree with in Parliament. A PAP MP can't do that unless the whip is lifted and it never is so all the "opposition" towards government policies comes to nought.

Hougang residents need no longer fear that voting in a PAP's candidate will affect the number of Opposition voices in Parliament said PAP MP Denise Chua yesterday.

PAP MPs are also independent and can '' speak boldly and without fear ''.

Mrs Phua also said PAP MPs are independent minded and often have more diverse views than their WP counterparts.

''Some of us, we are labelled 'more Opposition' than the Opposition ''. We express our views independently, boldly, without fear. She cited herself as one PAP MP who speaks her mind.

She has criticised the Government's '' many helping hands'' approach to providing social services and also spoken out against casinos.

I am honoured. Does that mean I get to vote on bills and speak in Parliament from now on? I am free on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for Parliament debates. Tuesdays I can't because it is my gaming night.

When I told the wife that MP Denise Phua said I'm a check on the PAP, my wife told me to check if the kids sleep already or not.

I think the wife believes the only thing I have the authority to check on is whether our children have finished their homework already or not. I think she is probably right.
