lianbeng asked: must standby some garlics?
Garlic is for vampires, not for people possessed by demons.
About 30 years ago, methinks, I was in the USA attending church one fine Sunday. At the end of the service, the pastor of the Lutheran church made a surprise announcement. He was asking church members to assist at an exorcism. I was curious and decided to stay back to watch. What followed really etched in my memory.
The possessed woman was foaming at the mouth.
There was no levitation (fortunately as people would freak out).
She was abusive and hurled expletives at everyone.
She was very pale. The whites of her eyes showed.
She spoke many languages: Latin, Hebrew, Greek, French, German, Japanese, Albanian (for someone who had only a few years of education). This is one of the classic signs of demonic possession.
She possessed incredible strength. Six male church members had to restrain her.
One church member gasped and exclaimed that the chalice on the altar moved. Some empty pews were shaking visibly. This is another classic sign of demonic possession. Of course non-believers and paranormal researches will say that the possessed woman has telekinetic powers.
At the end of a somewhat long exorcism, the pastor told us he only managed to cast out two evil spirits out of her. There were still three demons taking control of her.

At that time, about 30 years ago, I was just starting a course on psychology. That event at the Lutheran church changed my decision and I decided to specialize in abnormal pyschology.
If you were to ask me if I believe there's such a thing as demonic possession, I would say yes provided the following conditions are met:
- after subjecting the possessed individual to tests, psychiatrists can't provide any scientific explanations
- possessed person is able to speak many foreign languages (no known history of that person having learned them prior to the said possession)
- possessed person is able to move objects located far away (after paranormal researchers have ruled out telekinesis)
- physical levitation of the possessed individual
