Defining someone as FT or Locals

Singaporeans are not upset against individual immigrants. They are upset at the increase in competition for scarce resources due to the influx of foreigners. It doesn't matter who they are, how rich they are, how educated they are, how talented they are or even how easily they can integrate into society. The root problem is that the constant inflow of foreigners is a contributing factor to the deteriorating quality of life for Singaporeans.

If the government can ensure that every citizen is well taken care of first before any foreigner (unlikely in any country as the amount of resources is finite and the foreigners need to consume some resources to survive), you can be certain that the dissenting voices will be minimal indeed. The other issue about the foreigners is that too many of them means that the locals will need to adapt to them rather than the other way around which proves my point about the quality of life aspect.

When would someone be considered a local? When he starts realising that he does not want too much immigration to lower his current quality of life in Singapore. Those who are happy with the influx because it represents a money-making opportunity for them are just traitors.

So if they are really upset, they should cast a vote against the government mps or ministers who are responsible for the policy right?
Do you think they have the guts to do so?

for PAP when the say local they mean sinkie + PR.
and subsiby the way PAP says it means discount.
