Re: Dead Molester's School And 20 Over Lousy Neighbourhood Schools To Merge From 2017

Why until now then knows the problem is so acute? This is secondary 1. Doesn't the issue is obvious during primary school duration for this cohort, ie., 6 years advance warning. Why only now then issue is realised, and when there's major recruitment of Teachers and support staff for schools over the last few years?

Is there increase in student intake into other schools, ITE, or dropouts, thereby causing a shortage of Sec 1 students into these 22 schools? Where does the difference from P6 students went to, if they existed?

MOE ministers, with their tonnes of scholars and civil serpents, similar to other gov Organisation and statutory boards, sleeping in their jobs until problem cannot be swept under carpet?

Education is never an immediate-impact environment, just like after 50 years then they realised that first world school's output cannot be even close to 3rd world graduates that bought their certificates online!

So why isn't the obvious tackled years before, let alone other potential issues associated with the curriculum.

Hindsight is always 20/20, but taxpayers no need to pay for hindsight. Is foresight and advance planning to avoid problems that worth its salt.
