SINGAPORE: A third preschool served by Mum's Kitchen Catering has been hit by food poisoning.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) said it was notified on Monday of another food poisoning incident involving eight children from the Learning Vision's Raffles Place branch at Cecil Street.

Together with the cases at Pat's Schoolhouse and the Children's Place at Kay Siang Road, a total of 235 children and 12 teachers have been affected.

MOH said 34 people were hospitalised, and 14 have since been discharged.

Mum's Kitchen Catering has had its operating licence suspended since last Thursday.

MOH said investigations are ongoing.

Very sad. When one party has absolute power for too long, one misguided policy can mean the destruction of the entire country. They are usually unable and/or unwilling to roll back such policies because it will mean their demise.

Where does it say that Mum's Kitchen hire FTs?

U show me one food catering business that is not overun with FTs. The last time I had a party for about 20 people, i decided not to hire any caterers at all. I checked out many, but not happy with any. So, I went to the local hawker centre (Bedok Interchange), tar pau whatever I wanted, got bottled drinks, plastic fork and spoon, paper plates, etc. Very enjoyable meal, lots of leftovers.
