The brakes happened to faile when he was doing a Formula One-style turn around a bend on the road. What a co-incidence. Why the brakes did not fail when he is doing something less exciting like stopping at a bus-stop or slowing down behind a vehicle?

SMRT said no problem with brakes. Bus driver said brakes failed. So it is SMRT's word versus ah tiong's word.
