The number of coronavirus cases being diagnosed outside of China each day is now 18 times higher than inside the hardest-hit nation.
Beijing confirmed just 120 new cases yesterday in the lowest daily toll since the crisis began to take hold in the middle of January.
World Health Organization figures show 2,103 patients were struck down outside of China, with most recorded in Iran, South Korea and Italy.
The escalating crisis, which has seen 96,000 people infected across the world, has changed course dramatically in the past two weeks.

Data shows the number of daily cases on February 19 – two weeks ago – was 17 times higher in China than the rest of the world combined.
As China's outbreak has dramatically slowed in the last week, Beijing has now started to help other nations battling outbreaks of their own.
Chinese health officials have already sent 250,000 face masks and 5,000 testing kits to Iran, which has recorded more than 3,500 cases and 107 deaths.

Sure, if you believe the official Chinese statistics.

You have to paint a positive picture in China, otherwise the peasants in rural areas wouldn't go back to work.

The fun has only just begun.

There are more than 7 BILLION people in the world.

Roughly 100,000 people have confirmed infections and most have recovered.

On the other hand motor accidents kill 1.4 million per year.

You should all be far more worried about getting run over rather than catching a relatively harmless virus.

Try telling your Government that this virus is relatively harmeless and see what will happen to your ITCHY CRAP mouth. Also test the virus yourself and later do update us (HOPEFULLY) IF you can survive and walk out of the hospital...lol

KNN boss although what you said is true on figures but is comparing fruits with vege KNN rta is avoidable most of the time eg don't drive car or even be a passenger but covid is no way to hide KNN

When you leave the house you need to travel. If you walk a car could lose control and run you over. If you drive a car a truck could have a brake failure and kill you. There is no way you can get from one point to another without being put at risk of being a victim of a road accident. Even if you are not killed you could end up paralysed for life or lose a limb, an arm... or perhaps both.

On the other hand the corona virus is relatively mild infection for those who are not already half dead plus your probability of catching it is way less than being killed by a car.

The virus is being politicised so the government mouthpiece organisations have to pretend that they are doing everything possible to combat the disease.

Ask yourself why the same pressure is not being put on the government to reduce the road death rate. 120 people a year die in road accidents in Singapore.

And what about dengue fever. This disease is a lot worse because it can kill anyone at any age.

There are 12,000 cases per year and in 2019 there were more than 15 deaths. Nobody in Singapore has died from the coronavirus so which looks more dangerous?

KNN if you leemoved those killed in rta as a driver/rider and add passenger and count only those killed when walking the figure surely will be less than covid victims KNN take mrt whenever possible will surely reduce rta death rate by at least 50% KNN
