For me, just a vehicle with reasonably enough power to take me from point A to point B is adequate. No need to be flashy because I'm not attracting XMM.

It's a fool to buy an EV now because the technology is constantly improving and the depreciating value is just not worth it. The EV price today is quite similar to that of 2 years ago, but with longer range and better technology. So, who will still buy those 2 year-old EVs, unless their prices are dirt cheap.

In summary, their second-hand values will drop like a rock due to constant technology and battery improvements on every new and forthcoming EVs, because these technologies are still developing.
