不堪虧損 永旺信用卡撤台

永旺信用卡宣布退出台灣市場，5萬張流通卡將於6月起停止使用。永旺信用卡於2002年在台成立，是國內首家日商取得信用卡發行執照，但2013年爆出假帳弊案，遭金管會裁罰，就此由盛轉衰，終究不堪虧損撤台。
據指出，永旺今年初時就在市場上詢問有無買家，不過因卡數少、開出的價碼又高，多數銀行評估效益有限，拒絕永旺開出的條件，考量營運成本，永旺決定退出台灣市場。
截至今年1月底，永旺信用卡公司的流通卡數約5萬張、有效卡數僅2.6萬張，當月簽帳金額則為1億元，是全盛時期的1成不到。永旺退出後，在台專營信用卡的公司剩下美國運通、樂天信用卡兩間公司。
日本永旺集團持股100％的永旺信用卡，來台時以哈日為號召，在台合作企業包括環球購物中心、新月廣場、BEING統一佳佳、Skylark雲雀國際、居食屋「和民」、樂雅樂食品等，不過爆出弊案後，因被限制發卡，聯名團體也紛紛求去，元氣大傷。
永旺信用卡表示，4月起將停止卡片補換發及額度調整、預借現金，至於卡片可使用到5月底、紅利點數也可累積至5月底，紅利點數需在7月底前用完，否則將失效。若信用卡費沒辦法繳清，也會每月寄送帳單到繳完款為止，卡戶持續正常繳款即可。
