PEASANTPORE: Crony Bobby Chin has been re-appointed fat cat Board Chairman of the Peasant Totalisator Board (Tote Board) for another year as decreed by Ruler Loong. For ignorant peasants, this evil board gets its revenues by 'running' legalised gambling scams e.g. 4D, TOTO.
The Imperial Board of Finance said the re-appointment takes effect from January 1, 2012. It is understood his stipends will be increased.
Crony Chin was first appointed Chairman of the Tote Board in 2006 and his long tenure easily turned him into a millionaire crony.
Like other wealthy cronies e.g. Merchant Saw, he concurrently holds fat cat positions in several listed companies, including quasi-nationalised Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited, Yeo Hiap Seng Limited and state owned enterprise Sembcorp Industries Limited. Other than rubber stamping the regime's directives, he also keeps an eye on possible independent dissenters. He can be considered a Soviet Union type political commissar.
He is also a appointed member of the Council of Presidential Advisers. His role is to legally restrict the powers of an elected president.
