I think CAAS should open up a competition for creative Singaporeans to suggest the design and construction of Terminal 4
instead o bulldozing down Terminal 3 and rebuild!

they also never say they're going to bulldoze t3, the did say they will ask budget to fark off to T1.

SINGAPORE: Singapore's Budget Terminal will be closed on September 25 and demolished to make way for the construction of a new Terminal 4 at Changi Airport.

Changi Airport Group (CAG) gave this confirmation after Channel NewsAsia first broke news of the impending closure on Wednesday.

In a statement, CAG said construction of Terminal 4 will begin in 2013 and is expected to be ready by 2017.

aiya...cannot compare Dubai to Singapore lah...the only thing similar between Dubai & Singapore is:

=both fucking hot
=both have large population of FTs.

The similarity ends here. Although there are lots of FTs, the Dubaians enjoy previlaged life, guaranteed jobs in government / higher end pays. and of course, since their money comes from the ground, they can build all sorts of fanciful stuff.

T4 when its built on the ashes of the Budget terminal will be quite small - smaller than T3. Constraint of space.

and for sure, it will be following the trend of T3, so it won't be fanciful designs. Actually i go airport to take plane and fuck off, not to spend a long time there. So for me, the airport being practical is more important than asethetics.

Actually i go airport to take plane and fuck off, not to spend a long time there. So for me, the airport being practical is more important than asethetics.

Does anyone go to the airport to shop

The only reason the airport may have for all that room is as study space for student.
