i cook basmati rice at home, add a bit of tumeric powder
cheap and good for health
every time cook 3 cups
then store in fridge
wanna eat rice, take the amount i want and microwave
taste as good and fluffy as when cooked
then go geylang serai buy your recommended beef rendang and eat with it

Wah...good ya u. Rajin sekali. For me if the lauk is nice whether berani, nasi minyak or white rice is ok with me. Pokoknye lauk like rendam must be very sedap. At times wifey lazy to cook. I just bungkus beef rendang, ikan asam padas from tat stall i recommended u. Bang, the asam pedas also sedap i.e. if u love kuah asam. Then i will go over his neighbouring stall and buy the udang grago. Sedaaap. This udang grago eat with sambal belacan

Briyani rice or basmati rice do not need spices at all except to cook bryani , otherwise it’s called Pulau rice , that’s the terminology used for this long grain rice ...but you must watch out what is a basmati rice , just like Cognac , if its not from certain region of France the word branding cognac for brandy cannot be used ..so basmati rice must come from certain region of India and Pakistan or its just long grain rice
the nasi lemak outlets usually uses Thai grown long grain rice , the price is half of actual Basmati ...but most don’t know the difference in taste
