There have been so many deaths for those who have supposedly recovered. So, this is a truly dangerous virus. God help us all.

SINGAPORE — A 48-year-old male Indian national died of coronary heart disease on Tuesday (23 June) after he had recovered from COVID-19 infection, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said.

The man, identified as case 28388, was sent to the emergency department at Singapore General Hospital after fainting in the early morning of Tuesday at a temporary housing site for migrant workers.

He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 15 May, and had recovered from the infection.

“Only cases where the attending doctor or pathologist attributes the primary or underlying cause of death as due to COVID-19 infection will be added to the COVID-19 death count. This is consistent with international practice for classifying deaths,” said the MOH.

A total of 11 others who tested positive for the virus were determined to have died from unrelated causes. These include three whose deaths were attributed to a heart attack and another four, including the 48-year-old man, whose deaths were attributed to coronary heart disease.

A grand total of 37 deaths, unofficial and official, out of some 42,600 odd cases.

That’s a 0.086% case fatality rate, granted there could be more undetected cases, the medical team in Sinkiestan did a darn great job! Would they be having bonuses this year?

I read somewhere the virus makes your blood thicker ... a long term effect ...

All sinkies who recovered from covid are doing fine. No side effects, no lung or heart damage. What sort of fucked up non-PAP medical care do people around the world receive?

This is an anomaly.

If the 48yr old FW died and did not have covid earlier, it would not have been news.

From what i understand, the virus attaches itself to the ACE II receptors which is essential which in turn screws up the chemicals and cell processes in the body resulting in thicker blood vessel lining, thicker blood and more poisonous form of oxygen

TS please stop this unnecessary fear mongering.
Sinkies are daft, there are lots of bochap assholes around. They need to wake up, be socially responsible, and stop thinking that this is nothing more than a flu. Else, we can welcome the 2nd wave soon enough.

Very difficult choices indeed. If only China were more honest, we wouldn't have to deal with this fallout.
