In the U.S., my wife and I were poster children for the American dream. On the surface, at least. We lived in a resort town on a golf course with a nice home and cars. But behind the scenes, we hardly spent any time together or with our families and friends. While I blindly enjoyed being a slave to "having more" in the U.S., I now realize the difference in my life. There is no pressure to succeed beyond what is needed to live in Costa Rica.

not much food choices unless you hang around american joints catering to american diaspora. you'll be sick of local food in 6.9 days - usual central american and caribbean plantain, rice, beans, vege, overcooked meat. san jose the capital is nothing to shout about. like any crime-infested central american city, the hotel will tell you not to venture out after dusk. walls, fences, window grills, barbed wires everywhere. best two locations are near the arenal volcano for their hotsprings and up in the mountains for the cooler misty forest. have pics in the travel section.

I heard the pooning there is good. Costa Rican chicks got a nice mix of native indian, european, spanish, etc. And they are cheap to fuck. One of my friends went there for business and was banging 2 chicks a night in san jose. good quality.
