Cops arrest naked woman

KUALA LUMPUR: A woman caused an uproar in the city centre here when she took off her clothes while walking in broad daylight.

The woman was seen removing her clothes one by one while walking from the National Mosque to Kampung Attap at noon last Friday, said Kuala Lumpur CID chief SAC Zainuddin Ahmad.

“We received information about the incident from a traffic policeman on duty. We arrested the Indonesian woman, who is in her 20s. She was sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for a psychiatric check,” he said yesterday.

A 12-second video clip showing the woman walking naked in the middle of the road has gone viral on WhatsApp. — Bernama
