A passer-by is concerned to witness a man shouting at a crying child in public in Suntec City Mall on the evening of Sept 13.
The Stomper said the "awful incident" happened at around 8pm.
"This dad was scolding at full volume at his son in public," recounted the passer-by.
"His son had already been crying prior to this. He continued shouting for a really long time and in front of so many people.
"It was really scary to watch him lose his temper in public."
Why was the man shouting at the child?
"It was because of multiplication tables," said the Stomper.
"If he did this in public in front of so many people, I can't imagine what he does at home behind closed doors.
"It's not normal at all."

A 20-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to hospital after an accident involving two cars and a motorcycle along Clementi Avenue 6 towards Clementi Loop on Sept 15.
Stomper Teo alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a photo he took as he was passing by.
In the image, a motorcycle is seen lying on its side and a top box is a few metres away from it.
Paramedics were at the scene.
In response to a Stomp query, the police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the accident at about 3.15pm.
The motorcyclist was taken conscious to the hospital.
Teo shared: "I didn't see what happened, but when my father drove past, the motorcyclist was already on the road."
Police investigations are ongoing.

Trust Singaporeans to find a way to monetise almost anything.
Stomper Steven alerted Stomp to multiple listings on Carousell advertising the sale of SG Culture Pass credits despite it not being allowed.
On Sept 1, Singapore citizens aged 18 and above received SG Culture Pass credits worth S$100. They are meant to encourage Singaporeans to explore local arts and heritage.
However, some sellers have been spotted selling them for as high as $90.
On Sept 16, Stomp checked Carousell and confirmed several such listings.
"I'm surprised to see SG Culture Pass credits put on sale on Carousell," Steven said.
"Previously, the sale of NDP tickets, CDC and SG60 vouchers was banned. But why not SG Culture Pass credits too?"
In August, the Community Development Councils (CDCs) said they will work with e-commerce platforms such as Carousell and Facebook Marketplace to take down listings selling CDC and SG60 vouchers.
According to the FAQ section of the official SG Culture Pass website, selling the credits for cash is not allowed.
It states: "You are strongly encouraged to use the SG Culture Pass credits to discover, enjoy and engage in the diverse range of local arts and heritage events offered under the scheme, to enrich your experience."
