So many construction incidents nowadays: Downtown Line scaffolding collapse, Nicholl Highway road collapsed, and so many unreported incidents.
Never heard of such incidents back in the old days when the construction workers were Samsui women. They are more reliable than modern-day workers from India, China. The Samsui women also did not give any trouble. From Wikipedia: "They had a reputation of rejecting jobs involving drug (particularly opium) peddling, prostitution, or other vices, even if that meant they sometimes had to live in poverty."
