Nowadays everywhere I go in sg also dig dig dig construction everywhere. Either build new mrt lines or new hdb flats. Why? Is it to cater to 10 million population?

Best way to boost GDP. Build, knockdown, rebuild, etc. Minimal actual improvement, but GDP goes up!
