Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has ordered a Committee of Inquiry (COI) to look into the Little India riot that happened on Sunday night.

"The COI will review the factors that led to the incident, how the incident was handled, and how we manage areas where foreign workers congregate," he explained in a Facebook post on Monday evening.

But Commissioner of Police already praised his men even before this COI.

Is CP trying to INFLUENCE public opinion and cover up Police failures by pre-empting the findings of the COI?

There used to be a Toddy shop at Newton Circus at the junction of Gilstead Road and Dunearn Road.

Every month, an Ah Neh or two would be run over trying to cross the road drunk.

None of the Ah Nehs rioted as a result. The body was dragged to the side of the road and disposed of by the police. Case closed.

I threw mercil into ignore and enjoy this forum in bliss and wondrous tranquility almost like in a Zen retreat and garden.
