A woman woke up on National Day morning to discover someone had thrown eggs onto her bedroom window outside her Bukit Batok flat.
Stomper Gel suspected it was one of her colleagues.
"We used have a good relationship at work. However, due to some personality issues, I started to distance myself from him," recounted the Stomper, who felt sexually harassed.
"This caused him to be upset with me and he told our mutual friend who is also our colleague that he could make my life difficult as his fiancée was working at the same workplace as a supervisor."
The Stomper claimed that the fiancée even shared confidential information about the Stomper with the colleague.
"Both got a warning for the threat and sharing confidential information," Gel told Stomp.
"After the warning, they get even more furious and thus escalated to stealing my address and throwing eggs at my home."
She added in a police report she made on Sept 1: "Since the egg-throwing incident, I've felt unsafe as he has my address now. I am very concerned and would like to know how he managed to get hold of my address."
In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed a report was lodge, adding that investigations were ongoing.
That was in September.
Gel told Stomp in November: "He got a written police warning. He confessed to sexually harassing me."
The colleague has since quit.
The Stomper said: "The police investigated and found out that my address was leaked from my department."
Because of this, she claimed her head of department (HOD) is now trying to terminate her because he is afraid he would be implicated for the leak.
"A leak is a serious offence," Gel explained.
"When I went to my HOD to find out how my colleague got my address to come my house throw eggs, he brushed me off with 'Maybe he followed you home' as if it was my fault that I was not being vigilant.
"I have met my CEO. They're investigating my HOD's lack of integrity in handling my case.
"My HOD is the one who wants me out. Not the company."
The Stomper said she is sharing her story to raise awareness of workplace bullying and conflicts of interest.
"There are many victims," she said.
She also warned that it's dangerous when colleagues can retrieve your private information from the company's system.
