Colleague chewed my hand, company won't cover my hospital charges

KNN damn fed up. This early morning one of my colleagues had stones and was in so much pain

We hopped into a taxi to SGH but he was screaming like a madman and I tried to calm him.

Taxi driver wanted to throw us out but in the end relented.

I passed the taxi driver's towel for my colleague to chew but he chewed on my hand and caused serious injury.

Doctor gave me antibiotics and I likely have to undergo surgery.

But company insurance doesn't cover. Now I am in SGH waiting among so many sick and injured people.

Any advice?

You need to impress on your boss this is a work related issue. Let him know that either the insurance pays or the company will have to, you don't give a shit whether the company gets the $$ from your rabid colleague.

If all else fails, turn up at work like this.
