CNY puke and poo

this CNY was real hell!!

many members of the family were down with mysterious food poisoning. we traced the source and finally boiled down to the infected raw oyster kimchi a close female korean pal gave me the day i returned home from a seoul business trip.

it kinda of feeling stupid cos gotta pay US$100 for the half dozen boxes she specially made kimchi and meticulously packed unique gift boxes for me to bring back to celebrate cny reunion dinner.

it was a disastrous cny. the whole pot of sharksfins was hardly touched cos many either either down with serious puke n poo. the rest who weren't down were either too scare to consume or mildly infected with loss of appetite.

today was told by a staff that his family too suffer such. his mum even had to be warded for 2 days. from the hospital, the nurse told him that many sgporeans were infected with this symptom which was suspected to be transmitted from hk and other temperate asian countries.

did anyone of u encounter such incident by the way?

the day after reunion dinner, wifey cooked a big pot of sharksfin. forcefully, i took a bowl even though tummy wasn't really feeling ok. after a few hours, the conditions worsen. off to the toilet and puked everything out! after resting for awhile, it was to the toilet and everything was poo out.

well, for the next 2 day it was like a "fasting period". totally no food just water and brand's essence of chicken an.d ginseng tea :(

Dont eat raw oysters next time unless you are really sure they are fresh. Looking at it afterwards it was probably gods punishment for your pot of sharkfin.

My stomach cannot take raw oysters.
The first time i ate them from Lor. 9 because
the 'tou chiu' off day, and the guy can only do raw oysters with eggs.
He simply put eggs and raw oysters in a hot plate and served them.
In the middle of the night i got diarrhea.
That's was the last time i ate them.

was having lunching with some friends today. some of their family members also kena. they said it was a prevalent "stomach flu" mini epidemic.

think the shit times would leeport it soon how many were down during cny for no obvious reason.

Oysters are like bottom feeders they comsume rubbish at the seabed and anything that float
in water are consume, Oysters has a lot of bacteria, if u take a close look into the microscope
u would gave up Oyster forever!
