SINGAPORE: Singapore's Central Narcotics Bureau on Sunday netted 5.2 kilogrammes of crystal meth (Ice), its biggest haul of the drug in history.
The haul had a street value of over S$1.3 million and came from a drug syndicate.
Half of the drugs were seized from a Nigerian man arriving from Doha at Changi Airport's Terminal 3.
On the same day at Woodlands Checkpoint, a Singaporean woman was found to be transporting the other half of the haul. Another Nigerian man belonging to the syndicate was nabbed in a Chinatown hotel on Monday.
If convicted, all three may face the death penalty.
