By Leong Wai Kit | Posted: 10 October 2012 1038 hrs
SINGAPORE: A woman accused of killing her flatmate in 2011 made a brief appearance at the Subordinate Courts on Wednesday morning.
Ang Soo Hoon, 38, is believed to have murdered 36-year-old Celine Ng Swee Peng.
The former derivatives trader is currently remanded at the Central Police Division.
Ang and Ms Ng had been long-time friends, and shared a two-bedroom unit at West Bay Condominium.
Ms Ng went missing on May 26 last year -- on her 36th birthday.
Her decomposed body was found on July 5 at Clementi Woods Park.
About a week later, Ang was arrested at East Coast Park.
She was charged with murder two days later.
Ang's case will be heard again on October 31, as her lawyers are still waiting for forensic and Health Sciences Authority reports to be completed.
If found guilty, Ang faces the death penalty.
