NK war machine not up to date. Too old and backward. Not the same level with Russia & PRC. So they won't want NK in their show. May spoil the show.

They will use NK to do secretive sabotage works from behind. If US or Japs ship out of the blue got sunken by a torpedo from no where just like Cheonan of SK, that mostly be from NK mini sub. ;)

TOKYO (AFP) - Three Chinese coast guard ships sailed into disputed waters in the East China Sea on Friday as Beijing maintained its defiant stance after United States President Barack Obama backed Tokyo in the row.

The Japanese coast guard said the Chinese vessels entered the 12-nautical-mile band of territorial waters around one of the Senkaku Islands, which China also claims and calls the Diaoyus, shortly before noon.

It was the third-such incursion since US President Barack Obama vigorously reasserted on April 24 that Washington would defend Japan under a bilateral military treaty if China initiated an attack in the tense dispute.

China has already dismissed Mr Obama's position, saying that the islands are "China's inherent territory".

Beijing: China said on Wednesday it would conduct joint naval drills with Russia in the East China Sea off Shanghai in late May, in what it called a bid to deepen military co-operation.

China's defence ministry did not give an exact location in the East China Sea, where Beijing is locked in an increasingly bitter dispute with Japan over the ownership of a group of uninhabited islets.

"These drills are regular exercises held by China and Russia's navies, and the purpose is to deepen practical co-operation between the two militaries, to raise the ability to jointly deal with maritime security threats," the ministry said on its website.

It provided no other details.

China alarmed Japan, South Korea and the United States last year when it announced an air defence identification zone for the East China Sea, covering the islands.

The Beijing government, which is swiftly ramping up military spending, has regularly dispatched patrols to the East China Sea since it established the defence zone.

China was angered last week after US President Barack Obama assured ally Japan that Washington was committed to its defence, including the disputed isles.

Earlier this month, Tokyo announced it would break ground on a new radar base in the area, on a tropical Japanese island close to Taiwan.

The radar station on Yonaguni Island, just 150 km from the disputed islands in the East China Sea, marks Japan's first military expansion at the western end of its island chain in more than 40 years.

China and Russia have close diplomatic, security and economic ties, and regularly carry out military exercises together.

China, Russia to Hold War Games Around Diaoyu Islands

2014-04-30 11:37:23 CRIENGLISH.com Web Editor: Mao

China and Russia have agreed to conduct a joint naval drill at the end of May in the East China Sea, according to a Russian media report.

A Russian military commission has arrived in Shanghai to have a final consultation on details of the operation.

The "Joint Sea-2014" drill marks the first time the two countries have agreed to hold military exercises in waters off the Diaoyu Islands.

Twenty-odd warships, including a Russian missile cruiser, a destroyer, a comprehensive supply ship and one ocean tug, will take part in the war games.

Both Russian and Chinese armed forces will polish their skills in joint air-defense, anti-submarine and maritime replenishment.

Russian fleets will set out from Vladivostok in mid-May around the time when Russian President Vladimir Putin visits Shanghai.

Maybe Japan and USA can join the show. War game side by side.

You can mess with Russia, but mess around with the largest importer and exporter of the world??

If China goes down, many countries go down with it...........

Let's get fucking real, USA is bankrupt..........and it had tried to start wars, but it has no money, so it needs other countries to go to war and so it can sell weapons to them and engage NATO..........but for Ukraine, the EU got whacked by Russia........every time USA levy sanctions, it is like needle prick to Russia, because Russia and USA has very little commerce, so there is not much impact.

You obviously do not know how much US bonds China is holding and how much China is exporting to US and Europe.

And you do not know how much gold China has been buying until it actually controls the gold price in the world now.
