SINGAPORE: With the Environmental Public Health (EPH) Amendment Bill coming into force on Tuesday, Singapore authorities are reminding cleaning businesses to submit their applications for cleaning business licences.
All general cleaning businesses in Singapore, even if these services form only part of their overall business, will have to be licensed before September 1.
This licensing scheme will put old uncles and aunties, who are physically and mentally fit, out of jobs in the cleaning business. If these old people are SG local born natives, not imported shitizens, they should be exempted from training and certification under the licensing scheme. Let them have a chance to work if they wish to. Let them be financially independent.
Instead of creating jobs in the cleaning business for FTsh, let the elderly locals have their rice bowls. By this licensing scheme, it is obvious that the pool of cleaners will come from FTsh. Old uncles and aunties will certainly be kicked out and become jobless.
