Overcrowding continues on SMRT's Service 925 despite the operator being fined for it four times before.

The Woodlands-Choa Chu Kang service was found to be bursting at the seams on three occasions in the latest review of bus service standards between June and November last year.

SMRT will be fined $300 in total for it.

The service had also been found to be overcrowded in April, September and December of 2008 and in March last year. SMRT had been fined $100 for each lapse.

Inconvenience to commuters is a thing or situation that the authorities cannot be bothered about, despite their "declarations, etc...."
Fined a miserable $300 is "sab sab soi" to them. Get from Jonny to pay John.
How can they penalise their own transport companies? Don't make sense ya.........
Its like that, "hang someone else's son to be seen to impose the rule and let foreigners get away....to be seen to be a Nation that cares.
Fine someone $200 for throwing a cigarette butt..........Whoa piang.....
You intelligent people can see the difference. Don't ya..............
Transport company is theirs so a "wayang" has to be staged. You good Singaporeans can faham ya (understand).
The person going to be executed is someone else's baby, "so whats the big deal".
At least the citizens who voted for them knows that everything is working well in this squeaky-clean tiny island of 5.2 million people.
It boils down to 2 separate set of rules, one to sattisfy outsiders and the other to be used against the insiders so that the outsiders will say, "look that Great Nation known as SINGAPORE" has got good laws.
Go on , my friends. Get yourselves @#$%^&.
I am getting frustrated, like so many others. We are powder kegs about to explode...
