What's the problem? Malays now have Halal Fried KwayTeow, Hor Fun, and Hainan Chicken Rice all Halal. Not to mention Halal Hokkien Mee in our local kopi shop. All these stalls are run and cooked by Malay Muslims.

I was conned into eating halal hor-fun at a Marsling kopitiam. The Zhi-Char stall looked Chinese with Chinese staff but when my dish came, it was served with fork and spoon, by then I knew I was fucked. Hor-fun portion was small, looked and tasted bland as fuck with no pork or lard whatsoever.
