Around last year I met this very beautiful PRC lady and her friend at Larkin terminal. They told him they are from a church in JB and the PRC lady is a pastor and tells me to join them for worship

Every night they will ask me to go on zoom to chat. I would because I can’t wait to see the pastor and they start immediately on preaching about the bible and New Testament in Chinese

A week later, they told me to join their 神学班 (bible class or course). Which I ask what it is and they told me it’s every day from either 9am to 1pm, 2 to 5pm or 7pm to 9pm. I can’t because I got both classes and work back then and they told me to quit my job and join them

One day I went to JB, met the PRC lady who took me to her rented house near Taman Austin before going to their church which is located at level 2 of a shop house, there is a hall there n it’s all white upstairs, and the door is white too but no cross at the door nor any part in level 2

There I was with the young pastor who touched my hand and told me I am very sensitive and she offered to talk so I will heal.

I don’t believe in all these crap but some how I just relaxed n that night when I was home, I felt something Tap on my arm and my usual nagging arm pain is gone

I stayed there till 10pm and told them I had to leave because I had to work the next day and I kept thinking about the place.the young PRC pastor lady looked disappointed but I have to leave

Then they change another pastor for Zoom and old Chinese PRC auntie and my heart gone already don’t even flutter anymore

My classmates and female colleagues told me that I am having a huge crush with the PRC lady and that it’s a cult and they want to go down to investigate

Is this a cult? Will a church ask you to leave a job and join their 神学班 for 6 months?

No legitimate church would pressure you to resign from your job to join a full-time theology class for up to 1/2 a year. This is a common tactic used by cults to isolate new members from their work, friends and family to make them more dependent on the cult.

So my friends and ex colleagues are right? They want to go down and investigate the shop house turned church.

I know of this PRC older lady who told me she quit her job in China, left her grandchildren, children and husband and go all the way to JB to live there for 1 year everyday attending the 神学班and recruiting new members
