SINGAPORE: A man allegedly stole around S$31,000 (US$23,260) from three passengers during a Scoot flight from Vietnam to Singapore.

Zhang Xiuqiang, a 52-year-old Chinese national, was handed three counts of theft in a district court on Monday (Dec 18), read with the Tokyo Convention Act for offences on Singapore-controlled planes.

How are criminals prosecuted if they commited the crime on a flight that is located in international airspace?

I know the Tiongs and Vietcongs have historical bad blood which predated their petty little commie in-fighting by centuries, but it's a shame that Sinkieland (the shitty budget airline) is implicated in this.

That is their forte, stealing, cheating, blackmailing, threatening. . . etc

So many millionaires travelling on Scoot…
