In the news today (PLA Navy Founding Anniversary Day) The 1st Chinese built aircraft carrier is moved after 1 year of Outfitting installation at the pier. They want to do a post-outfitting clean up inside the dry dock to polish the hull and rudder and propeller etc. In previous 2 days they had been cleaning up the deck and superstructure etc areas. Outfitting installation caused cutting / drilling dust and debries, and paint work damages hence they do a touch up after outfitting is completed.

另据香港文汇报4月22日报道，停靠在大连的我国首艘国产航母甲板已于当天接近清空，海试前的准备工作几乎完成，很可能就在近日海试。此前有传闻称国产航母海试日期或许就选在4月23日海军节。中国海军在迎来69年生日之际收到了来自祖国的一份厚礼。

不过，香港《文汇报》认为，据中央气象台天气预报，4月23日大连上午仍有零星小雨，下午转变为多云，但能见度仅为一公里，此外大连潮汐为小潮，不足三米的高潮出现在下午三点半左右，水文及气象条件较不利于试航。

即便4月23日海军节当天不能进行海试，而是进行入坞清理，也同样意味着海试即将在近几天进行。根据辽宁海事局发布的辽海警0082号通告，4月23日08时至26日08时，渤海秦皇岛外海因军事任务而禁航，如果此次禁航是由于航母海试，则可以推断国产航母海试不会晚于25日。
