一批防暴警察晚上在紅磡道附近執勤時，其中一名帶隊的總督察與途人發生爭執，從槍袋取出配槍，之後放回槍袋，其他警員一度向在場圍觀的市民及記者，發射胡椒噴劑，防暴警員之後離開。
事發在昨晚約11時許，當時有一批市民在街上。從本台拍攝的片段所見，一名身穿紅色T裇的市民，站在一名滿頭白髮、戴深色眼鏡，肩章顯示是總督察的警務人員前面，這名總督察面向紅衫的市民，向前行並撞到這名市民。
圍觀的市民起哄，多名防暴警員隨即舉起盾牌及揮動警棍，這名總督察突然拔出配槍，並無指向任何人，約4秒後放回槍袋，在旁警員就向圍觀人士，發射胡椒噴劑，有人就向警員投擲雨傘及水樽等雜物。
圍觀的市民高舉雙手示意，沒有人衝擊警方，大批途人舉起手機拍攝，有人指罵，不滿警員做法，有防暴警員以胡椒噴劑指向圍觀人士，警員之後離開現場。

When a group of riot police were on duty near Hung Hom Road in the evening, one of the chief inspectors who had led the team had a dispute with the passer-by.
