Children can sue Parents to fund overseas uni education

Bestest is let Gossipy Former Policeman Mark Yeo run the country.

You want unemployed hoodlum Chin Siong run the country or well paid well deserving old hands to guide the economy with steady hands? No brainer really.

Parents who sue children and children who sue parents are fucking stupid. The former should simply not include their children in their will. As for the children, if they try sueing their parents for an overseas education, the parents should simply send them to a university in Timbuktu, which is also "overseas".

I do not understand that they have to pay legal fees and use legal proceedings to deal with these matters.
Is it not possible to fund their children's university education, if they can afford it, and support their parents if they can afford it.
Why pay and feed the lawyers?

This probably has to do with the fact the child was from a previous marriage. I am sure the verdict took into account the legal escalation could not have come about from the behaviour of a reasonably affluent parent. Likewise for the converse arising from the Maintenance of parents Act.

I did not think or consider that.
Thank you.
