Maybe this trial will eclipse that of Durai as the number of accused were more, the investigations alone took 2 years, has the most of SCs in local law history. So how complex is this?

Not all of these will come out but here are some interesting tidbits
- money moved to over 40 overseas entities
- sizeable donations were made and publicised to the flock but unknown to the flock some of it were returned. Cash in some cases. Was it done to create something analogous to a false market to pressure others to donate, tax evasion scheme by donors, or both of them.
- her billboard top tens were done by airplay and not sales and bribes to radio stations and DJs a in the mix
- the guy who was desperately seeking a QC was using his own investment company and creaming the church while sitting on its exco. He was also got most of his donations back.


Here is the best part and this will not surface. Arguably he was running the largest money laundering scheme in local history but no one picked it up. It involved over 50 companies, the web is complex, the are major businessmen associates from other countries involved. It is so complex that no one is sure what is going on besides laundering donations to fund his wife's music career. Was it tax evasion for his business associates, lining the pockets of his friends etc.

they already have all the solid evidence to charge them. why are they delaying court procedures?

as the years approaching 2016, gahmen sure cave in to CHC becos of their humongous members which might vote against the pap should kong hee fatt choy be jailed for life.

i ve a uneasy feeling that khfc could maybe just get a slap on his hand for all the evils and sins that he has committed and leading the church to such sin. :(

1. it involve a church; and religion is a sensitive issue.

2. our court are only fast in dealing with sex with minor.

or

3. Someone else whom are a "big fuck" got involve; and the court is giving them more time to make "fake evidence".

The diehard members of CHC are spread thinly across the island. The parents of the youngsters who got conned will likely be more appreciative of govt to see con hee goes to jail. So by charging CHC jerks closer to next GE, the net effect could be neutral to positive for PAP.

the crux of the matter is a crime was being committed. funds were abused and exploited. it's no different from a major conjob or sting. the ppl involved are unrepented and still using religion as their shields.

if they ve nothing to hide, why should they waste more funds to engage QC?

they blaspheme the religion and still wasting more resources, time and energy knowing very well that their sins shall be paid with great interests, i.e, lifetime imprisonment.

This kind of cases will seldom get more than a few years, maybe even a few months. The money came from suckers, fools, and morons. If it did not go to horse face, they could easily spent on themselves in the name of god and the church. His stable of properties all came from the same source. If she was their gospel singer and the church exco endorsed the expense of $25m, the authorities could do squat.

There should be better regulations regarding these charities. Also better metrics should be set. All these details including audited financials should be listed publically. Failure means loss of charity status and entity is taxed like corporation and donors get no tax deductions.

How many percent of each dollar donated is used for "admin" purposes. Salaries for the top management. Any contracts given to entities owned by BOD, management of charity. And conflict of interest. How is money used by the charity? Does it meet what is told to the donors.

Just a few simple questions and a lot of this will not have happened. At the end, even if they meet the criteria, government can set a basic grading of A, B, C F. A maybe refers to charities that spend under 10% on admin/fund raising activities.
