Charged with stabbing mum <!--10 min-->

Low Boon Cheng, 38, is said to have stabbed Madam Ng Kim Choo, in her 70s, on the face and forearm in the kitchen of his flat in Woodlands Drive 60 on Wednesday. He was remanded for psychiatric examination until Feb 13. If convicted, he faces a jail term of up to seven years or fine or caning or any combination of the punishment.
