<!-- end left side bar --> <!-- story content : start --> A FORMER NTUC Club account supervisor who misappropriated about $160,000 over a two-year period was jailed for 25 months on Thursday. Kwok Hong Leng, 37, employed as an account executive between 1997 and 2008, pleaded guilty to criminal breach of trust of $72,390 between May 2006 and May 2007, and $45,511 between 2007 and January 2008. NTUC Club has five jackpot outlets, one of which is Jest D'Place at Choa Chu Kang where Kwok committed the offences. The court heard that Kwok, a mother of three, misappropriated between $1,000 and $7,000 each time while counting the daily takings from jackpot operations. She spent the money on her personal and family expenses. A third charge involving $42,057 was taken into consideration. Kwok, who has paid back $3,555, could have been jailed for up to seven years and fined on each charge.
