Changi general hospital asked a 73 year old man to wait 1 year for check-up

Why the old man didn't complain say I am queuing up for my appointment 1 year later at CGH clinic or queueing up for CGH mortuary 1 year later

pls check time for availability

This is the article that led old man to loose his bundle. He summoned Val Chua, Mano Sabnani and Shaun Seow to the Istana. He then proceeded to tore strips from the young reporter and berate her and her Editor.

11 years later the same hospital that provided the nurses for the mercy mission is housing patient under a tent.

The country is falling apart in front of his eyes.

Obviously LKY knew that his wife was getting special treatment. That is why he was angry that it was made public:rolleyes:

This is for the poor who are forced to go to a public hospital/polyclinics.
Specialist referrals normally take at least 6 months(if you are still alive by then)

The rich can go to a private facility and get a check up (including CT scan ) on the spot.

It is really beyond belief that 60% can vote for a useless govt like that.
Logically only 18% (those staying in private properties and can afford private healthcare) should vote for the pappy. .

"I think this experience has changed my granddaughter's view of Singapore," Mr Lee said.

why?

That's when it dawned on her that Singapore actually belongs to her Imperial Lee family. What Democracy? What Republic?

The plane expenses was fully paid by the family. But I think there are couple of issues that are interest to everyone.

1) Will SIA have done the same for anyone else who have agreed to foot the bill.

2) There are fully qualified and long standing medical air evacuation services with doctors and nurses available and Singapore is a major regional hub. Why not use them. Thats their job and they do that for a living. Bear in mind, SIA had to remove seats and place bed etc. Also medical personnel from the Civil Service was used. Did a cheque go to the treasury just as he and the son did after the Nassim Jade encounter.

3) He compared Singapore and London medical services and derided the later. This is despite he pulling strings and making special arrangement for tests to be done at 3am in the morning. That is poor conduct. People helped you cut the queue and you make derogatory statements about them.

4) I don't think he has any idea the condition of our Health Services in terms of queue times. He has been living in his own bubble for so long that he has lost touch with reality.
