[h=1]CERTIS CISCO IGNORES AMENDMENTS TO EMPLOYMENT LAWS, UNDERPAYS WORKERS[/h]
Post date:

I've been with Certis Cisco for awhile now.
Not long ago, when MOM release the Amendments to the Employment Act for non workmen earning sgd 2500 or less, our department is delighted with joy because that would have help so much in supplementing our pathetic salary.
Very often we are require to work more than 8 hours a day and this would have help us make much more.
According the the MOM website, the new law applies to all front line staffs who are earning a basic salary of not more than SGD2500 which shouldn't includes any form of allowance nor components.
Up till now, we still do not hear from the management about the new amendments.
The last we checked, our basic salary is below sgd 2500 and we're made to work more than 8 hours a day without any OT pay.
Isn't this a breach of the new amended law? or is it just because they are a GLC hence they are exempted from the law?

MHA is not regulated by MOM laws. Bear that in mind and don't waste time posting opinions of fools who don't even know their own organization

if i remember correctly . many GLCs do that, even SIA. so not surprised. gahmen dun practise wot they preach, only peons and SMEs must follow law
