A technician working at SIA Engineering thought he found a quick way out of financial troubles, but it ended with a jail sentence instead.
The 32-year-old Indian national allegedly used his work access to steal two brand new laptops worth about S$3,400 from a server room in Changi. To avoid leaving digital traces, he reportedly tampered with the room's control box using an electrical test pen.
