CCTV showed NTUC lied to parents after boy suffered broken shins

The Police said that the teacher involved in an alleged child abuse case at a NTUC’s childcare centre in Toa Payoh has been arrested.

The incident was alleged to have happened on Fri morning (5 Jul). Video footage showed a boy being dragged to a corner, then slammed onto the ground by a teacher at the centre.

The impact was so hard that the boy had great difficulty getting up. The shin of the three-year-old boy was fractured as a result of the hard slam. The boy was seen limping away in pain and crying.

The video has since gone viral online.

It was very in the video that there were some other teachers in the room.

The CEO just said that there was no intention to cover up and they only knew about it after watching the video.

In the first place they should not tell the parents that the child had a fall before investigation and what if the parents believe what they said? Will they then conduct the investigation? The other teachers in the room witnessed the incident and did not do anything about it so aren't they responsible as well?
