This is what the Master Clown was reported to have said in parliament:

The risks of economic balkanisaton, where markets are fragmented and bifurcated, and where trade, talent and data flows
are disrupted, have grown. An increasingly protectionist global would reduce our access to markets.

This little boy lost is crying out for help. This statement shows that he is trying to impress his colleagues in parliament, never mind the fact that more than half of the seats were empty when he spoke. In trying to sound high faluting, he comes across as someone who needs to be recognised for what he is worth. But in the process, he displays all the traits of an extremely insecure person, coupled with his inferiority complex.

And this is the man they say MAY be our DPM if he gets voted in?

I'm impressed I had to look up the word to find out what it meant. He has an excellent command of the English language.

Spoken like a globalist parrot who promotes open borders and 'free' (unfair) trade.

By the way, if he's concerned with the so-called 'disrupted data flow', look no further than China's Great Firewall. Here in Sinkieland, some websites are blocked, both porn and non-porn. You wouldn't hear Kee Chiu barking about these.

Boss , it means , like that :

Balkanization, or Balkanisation, is a geopolitical term for the process of fragmentation or division of a region or state into smaller regions or states that are often hostile or uncooperative with one another.[1][2] Balkanisation is a result of foreign policies[citation needed] creating geopolitical fragmentation, as has happened in the namesake Balkan region under the Ottoman Empire, the Austro-Hungarian empire, and later in Yugoslavia.

If he used the same language to command an army in time of war, the bullets will all be flying at the wrong place.

President-scholar and general CCS is already beaten and heart-broken when he lost the coveted PM-designate position to Ah Heng who is only a police scholar and also not as handsome and tall as him. Both in physical and academic attributes, CCS beat Ah Heng hands down. I do feel sorry for him!

He agrees with you.

if you need to explain like that, why did you even use that word in parliament speech? most people won't understand you. better next time when you talk in parliament use simpler words. now you have to go into SBF and have to explain again. what's the point?

you are already a highly paid civil servant, please make the most use of your time.

Language is for enhancing communication, not to overshadow it.

why is he questioning instead of giving solution to An increasingly protectionist global would reduce our access to markets

The Shitty Times gave him lots of space, sprouting rubbish. None of his statememts give an idea of WHAT he intends to do to solve our problems. And nothing (and I mean really nothing) that he has been talking about is new. Everything he said in parliament was nothing but a regurgitation of what had been said previously. Together with Ah Heng, they make a great tag "WE HAVE NOTHING NEW TO OFFER" team. Good luck to us.

Cannot even pronounce "children" and "generation" properly.
He talks like some durian seller in Geylang.
ALMOST as "good' as Teo Ser Luck in one of his erection campaign speeches when introducing
Sleepy Eyed Teo Chee Hean.
