台灣一名男子，對外自稱是「仁波切」、「西藏八大活佛之一」，以此在全球各地吸引信徒，並號召信徒以建佛堂、賑災、添福報等名義捐獻款項，但金錢疑似都是進到他的口袋，根本沒拿去做善事，近年陸續遭各地信徒揭發，甚至被泰國警方通緝。刑事局日前接獲多名陸籍民眾報案，日前在男子位於台中的道場拘提他到案，並發現這些年來他共詐騙近2.5億，金額高得嚇人。

刑事局調查，陳姓男子27年前開始自稱是「仁波切」，除了對外謊稱年紀，讓自己看起來較年輕、彷彿有佛力加持外，更用似是而非的教義吸引信徒，行跡遍及大陸、泰國、日本、法國、美國、加拿大等國家，信徒超過1萬人，而陳男常常藉各種理由向信徒募款，但錢疑似都進了他的口袋，金額十分嚇人。

日前陳男在泰國遭到通緝，逃回台灣，但仍有20多名大陸民眾跨海來台報案，刑事局不敢大意展開調查，並在本周一（8日）在陳男台中的道場成功拘提他到案說明，也在該處查扣手機、筆記型電腦、存摺、供養紅包、以及多達4000多萬元現金，刑事局也向法院聲請裁定扣押陳男數筆動產、不動產、以及銀行帳戶內逾2億元等財產，訊後依詐欺、洗錢等罪嫌移送檢方偵辦。

A man in Taiwan, who claimed to be "Rinpoche" and "one of the eight living Buddhas in Tibet", attracted believers around the world and called on believers to donate money in the name of building a Buddhist temple, disaster relief, and Tianfu, but the money was suspected. They all entered his pocket and did not take good deeds. In recent years, they have been exposed by local believers and even wanted by the Thai police. The Criminal Bureau has received a number of reports from the land-based people. Recently, the man was arrested in the Daoist Stadium in Taichung and found that he had defrauded nearly 250 million people over the years. The amount was high and scary.

According to the investigation by the Criminal Bureau, the man surnamed Chen began to claim to be "Rinpoche" 27 years ago. In addition to lying to the outside world, he looked younger and seemed to have a blessing of Buddhism. He also used plausible teachings to attract believers. Thailand, Japan, France, the United States, Canada and other countries, more than 10,000 believers, and Chen Nan often used various reasons to raise money for believers, but the money is suspected to have entered his pocket, the amount is very scary.

Recently, Chen Nan was wanted in Thailand and fled back to Taiwan. However, there are still more than 20 mainland people coming to Taiwan to report to the police. The Criminal Bureau is not willing to investigate and is in the dojo of Chen Nantai on Monday (8th). Successfully arrested him to the case, and also seized mobile phones, notebook computers, passbooks, red envelopes, and as much as more than 40 million yuan in cash. The Criminal Bureau also appealed to the court to detain Chen’s pen and movable property, real estate, And the property in the bank account of more than 200 million yuan, after the news, according to fraud, money laundering and other crimes transferred to the prosecution investigation.
