THREE men were fined between $3,000 and $5,000 on Tuesday for casino-related offences while three others had their cases adjourned.
One of them, Chinese national Liu Shimeng, 32, a construction worker, was fined $1,000 for criminal trespass and another $2,000 for entering the Marina Bay Sands casino when he was subject to an exclusion order by the Commissioner of Police.
The casino had issued a persona non grata against him on Sept 27 after he was convicted of theft at the casino.
He had entered via the foreigner lane, after flashing his work permit on Nov 14.
Two others - Ng Eng Sing, 32, a Singaporean, and Chinese national Chen Rong Deng, 25 - were fined $5,000 each in the same court for trying to cheat the casino by using the identities of others to get in last month.
Ng tried to do it in July, while Chen tried it in November.
