Okay, help me understand this.

Indranee is the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office. She is also Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for National Development. So does that mean that she takes home 3 different million-dollar salaries, because she holds 3 positions? What has she contributed to parliament in the past 24 years besides throwing her famous tantrum?

And if there is a second minister for every ministry, then why the heck do we still need the minister of state?

I believe that she receives one salary as a Minister, not the salary for three portfolio.
