Once again, Teo Chee Hean is caught using selective data to suggest Singapore is not such a crowded place. After attempting Hong Kong, he is using Seoul as a comparison. The lie is obvious when you fire up your computer.

City life or country life, you can have a choice in a place like South Korea. Not so in Singapore, not when the city planners have their way. Don't let them sell you a different story.

We are all in dire straits , now we have this overpaid minister, having not a clue, where the ship is going to sail. Time to replace with a cheaper alternative with a better vision & foresight!

While it may be more accurate to compare us with cities, people in big countries always have to choice to move to the suburbs where housing is cheaper and commuting to the city daily for work. Does Singaporeans have a suburbs where we can escape to?

If you have a worker who say that he dunno how to do this or do that, would you still employ him? If not , then why are we still paying them top dollars to do the job?

On the contrary, he has a clear picture, but what he wants to achieve is bad for most sinkies and only benefit the rich like the entire pap.

HK is only populated at the city area only. If you are rich enough, you can buy a house at the mountain peak and live in peace ! Buy a car and drive around. If you need to get into city, ty their MTR and taxi !!!

HK has lots of life in it. Some streets at Mongkok area is close to traffic and they allow performers to dance and sing on the street. This is the kind of life and vitality we Singapore sorely lacks !!!!

People in Seoul (and elsewhere) live in "bedroom towns" - and commute 2hours minimum to work at the best of times in crowded trains. Quality of life? Like shit.

Singapore cannot be like Seoul - where the fuck do you put the bedrooms, big nosed Teo?!?

If would have got rid of that worker a long time ago, for it disrupt the company's workflow...but in MIW's Company, all of them are the same, & in the same 'boat', to them it is normal, for they come affordable & "cheap" & at a "bargain"...

vote the PAP out!

Seoul is crowded with their own people. We are crowded out by barbarians.

Why did he choose HKG to compare against. Hongkies are a bunch of unhappy and highly stressed people.

There is no purpose to compare to anyone or any country. The other countries may be better than Singapore in a lot of ways, it doesn't matter.

The gov't is elected by the ppl and should listen to what the ppl want. The people want less foreigners. If we hv less foreigners, we may not grow our economy as fast. We may even shrink, then we can reduce the number of foreigners. The ppl want this. Of course the income of the biz owners & elites may be affected but the gov't shud be listening to the people and not just the the privileged few. PAP is risking reduced popularity votes and will lose more seats GE 2016 if they do not want to listen to the ppl. If PAP continue this path, in 2-3 more GE we will see PAP becoming the opposition. Is this what the PAP wants ???

The People Power will prevail. LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE. Even a simple sales staff knows that the customer is always right.
