Football fans, here's one for you.
A firm is selling authentic grass clippings from famous pitches that renowned football teams have played at, reported The Mirror.
Fans can choose from a number of grounds like Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge, Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, Newcastle’s St James’ Park and others.
And they are forking out up to £45 (S$88) for the grass snippings, sold by Authentic Grass Sports (AGS).
Supporters of Manchester United, Everton, Liverpool and West Ham can even buy seeds used in their pitches to grow their own turfs at home.
Fans pay S$88 for a picture frame containing the clippings.
Sealed acrylic blocks are cheaper, costing £30 (S$58), while keyrings cost £9 (S$17).
The mementos have proven a great hit with football fans - and women looking to buy a gift for their football-crazy significant other.
A spokesman for AGS told The Mirror: "Sales are simply booming. We can assure shoppers the grass is certainly from those different stadiums."
One shopper at Brent Cross, in North West London, told The Mirror: "I almost did a double take when I heard that grass from around the Emirates was being sold."
Another shopper added: "Thank goodness the grass is completely sealed away in those little airtight sachets.Footballers are famous for clearing their throats and spitting on pitches while they are playing. The thought of paying for that as a gift is totally gross."
