The PAP propaganda machine has heavily countered and rebutted all the allegations against CECA in the MSM.If they repeated in the MSM that "CECA is good for Singaporeans" 1,000 times ,they hope eventually that will be the gospel truth and sinkees will believe it ! Yes there will be a downward calibration for sure. The PAP's legitimacy to rule is already seriously under threat with the popular vote % barely above 50%. Their supermajority in parliament is obtained through systematic gerrymandering and even that has its limits. Those who are familiar with gerrymandering rules can tell you, that when the system is stretched to its limits, multiple GRCs can fall within one single election. The ruling party knows this and they are quite desperate to slow down the decay.

So whether the party collapse or not in the near future, it is no more their concern.
