Canadian imam Sheikh Younus Kathrada said in an August 2, 2024 Friday sermon at Muslim Youth Victoria Islamic Center that the Jews have an ancient hostility, deep-rooted hatred, and eternal enmity towards the Muslims. He said that the Jews spread corruption through the land, that they murdered Allah's prophets, that they bomb buildings under the cover of darkness, that they kill men, women, and children, and that "not even fetuses in the womb are safe from them." He added: "If Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them Himself. But he ordered armed struggle." The sermon was uploaded to Muslim Youth Victoria on YouTube.
Sheikh Younus Kathrada: "The enmity of the Jews towards Islam and its people – in other words Muslims – is not new. It is not a recent phenomenon. Rather, it's an ancient hostility and deep-rooted hatred.
